Jorginho finally explains why he didn’t give Reece James the penalty to complete what could have been the Hat-Trick record in the game against Newcastle United.

Before the penalty kick, Chelsea was already leading with two goals and Reece James had bagged a brace.

However, Jorginho scored from the spot in the 81st minute to complete the 3-0 victory against Newcastle United on Saturday.

Speaking with ESPN Brazil after the game, Jorginho says James he didn’t ask to take a penalty.

“If he had asked, we would have had a conversation but he didn’t, he came to support me,” the midfielder said.
