Jorginho names two best players in the Premier League ignores Mo Salah and Ronaldo
Ballon d’Or favorite nominee Jorginho has named the two best players in the Premier League ahead of the forthcoming football award ceremonies.
The Italian midfielder picked two other players who he thinks were the best in the Premier League for the last season.
For the Italy international, last season has brought good fortune as he won the Euro 2020 with his nation, and the Champions League with Chelsea.
Consequently, his performances during the previous season granted him a spot in the Ballon d’Or nomination. Furthermore, Jorginho could also win one of FIFA’s The Best awards this year.
While speaking with Globo, the 29-year-old was asked to vote for a player in The Best awards. This is what he said: “I’m the first, you don’t even need the other two! Jorginho! Are you crazy?!”
However, after the humorous joke, Jorginho went on to answer the question and named the two best players from the Premier League for the last season.

‘Ah…Kanté, maybe,’ he said. It would be between Kanté and De Bruyne. They are two players who are completely different in terms of characteristics. But they are two players who have been showing a lot, and I admire them. Beautiful football.’
Voting for The Best Football Awards will begin on November 22, and the results will be out in January with the Ballon d’Or due on November 29.
