Jurgen Klopp Sends Message To Tuchel After Failing To Beat Him Yet Again At Chelsea
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel claimed the Champions League trophy with Chelsea in his first season and won the UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year award.
Following a strong start to life at Chelsea since replacing sacked Frank Lampard, Jurgen Klopp has acknowledged what his Germain compatriot is doing at Chelsea.
“What Thomas [Tuchel] did at Chelsea is absolutely exceptional, I have to say,” Jurgen Klopp said at a presser, as quoted by Liverpool‘s official website.
“I was never in doubt about it that he would have a massive impact there. That it would go that quick? I think not even he would have expected that exactly.”

“But he won last night the European coach of the year – and absolutely deserved. Nobody had a bigger impact last season than he had. Really deserved.
“I said it before, the combination of financial wealth and football knowledge is always a threat for all of us, that’s how it is.
“So, what they are doing is really good, no doubt about that. Thomas is an exceptional manager and coach, so all my respect.”
These are some really lovely words from Klopp. What makes this praise somewhat special is that Tuchel has often been considered to be in Klopp’s shadow, blazing Jurgen’s trail by managing Mainz and Dortmund after him.
