A key Chelsea defender has been ruled not available for the Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday evening after picking up a knock against Real Madrid.
Mateo Kovacic is still not ready for selection against Fulham.
When quizzed about an injury update ahead of the Fulham clash, Tuchel told reporters at his press conference: “No, unfortunately not. He (Kovacic) trained but he is still not fully comfortable.
“Antonio Rudiger is also out, he picked up an injury in the last minute against Madrid.”
As Mateo Kovacic is expected to be missing for the game, Rudiger’s sudden development could have a serious impact on the game.
