Koeman Chooses Between 16-Year-Old Gavi & Riqui Puig – Reveals Who He Prefers

In a recent meeting with Barcelona president Joan Laporta, head coach Ronald Koeman told the Barcelona chief that he loves Gavi and sees him ahead of Riqui Puig in the pecking order, RAC1’s reliable Gerard Romero reports.

This news might come as a surprise since there have been reports during the summer saying that Laporta insisted on Puig having a more prominent role in the 2021-22 season.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old, last term, played a measly 581 minutes across 24 matches, mostly coming on as a sub for the last minutes.
