Koeman Sends Message To Madrid Ahead Of Clasico After First UCL Victory This Season

FC Barcelona recorded their first victory for the 2021-22 Champions League campaign after beating Dynamo Kiev 1-0 on Wednesday night.

Next up for the Catalans is a big Sunday fixture against La Liga rival Real Madrid and in his post-match conference, Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman is confident his team can beat Real Madrid with their performance on Wednesday night.

“We should have won 3-0, or 4-0 today. We cannot miss this many chances, considering the chances we created,” Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman said after his team beat Dynamo Kiev 1-0.

Asked if his team can win El Clasico this Sunday, Koeman responded: “Yes, we can beat Real Madrid, why not?”

Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman seems to have got his hopes up after beating Ukrainian minnows in the Champions League.

Real Madrid will face Barcelona at Camp Nou on Sunday, October 24.
