Lionel Messi’s Message To Pochettino Finally Revealed After His Poor Start To Life At PSG

Speaking to France Football after winning his record-breaking seventh Ballon d’Or, Lionel Messi was asked what ‘absolute freedom’ meant to him.

The 34-year-old replied: “In play, I’ve always had the freedom to go where I want, without needing to stick to a position.

“Every manager I have had gave me this freedom to move where I felt the opposition could be attacked.

“Then, off the pitch, absolute freedom is being able to spend time with my family, with my wife and children, and make the most of being with them.”

Messi’s response could be interpreted as a message to Mauricio Pochettino who continues to struggle to get the best out of the Argentine at Paris Saint-Germain.

The 34-year-old has scored five goals in five Champions League games but his Ligue 1 tally so far this season stands at just one goal in 10 appearances.
