List Of Problematic Positions At Chelsea Right Now Revealed

Ahead of next season, Chelsea seriously need to address these problematic positions in the transfer window if they are to compete for a major title.

First Choice Striker

The West London giants have struggled to score the entire season. In the Premier League, Chelsea have had no player score more than 7 goals this season.

New arrivals Timo Werner and Kai Havertz haven’t established themselves and for whatever reason, Thomas Tuchel is not interested in giving Tammy Abraham a chance.

Thus, if Chelsea are to kick on and really challenge for the title, a top striker is an absolute must. Whether it will be Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku or even Harry Kane remains to be seen.

Box-to-Box Midfielder

Since Thomas Tuchel took over at Chelsea, the Blues has been constant in playing 2 in midfield. And Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, and Mateo Kovacic are all excellent in their own ways.

But with Mason Mount’s future looking likely to be in a more advanced role, Chelsea don’t actually have a dynamic box-to-box midfielder that can do it all for them.

So signing a player of that caliber should be an absolute priority for Chelsea if they wish to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool next season.
