Lukaku Finally Breaks Silence After Ending His 3 Months Premier League Goal Drought
“I needed a performance like this. It’s been difficult [playing a few minutes here and there],” Romelu Lukaku told Sky Sports after the Aston Villa game.
“The manager has his reasons but I kept working hard and today… it was good for us to win and I’m happy with my performance. Now I have to push on.
“We are the hunters now. The last few results haven’t been the best, and now we have to chase [Manchester City and Liverpool]. Every game between now and the end of the season is a final.”
