Romelu Lukaku Finally Breaks Silence On Cristiano Ronaldo Comparisons
Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku were the Serie A top scorers last season with 29 and 24 goals respectively.
The legendary Portuguese has just re-joined Manchester United as the battle of two predatory goalscorers is set to start all over again in the Premier League after Lukaku equally re-joined his former employers Chelsea.
As a result, Lukaku has drawn up comparisons with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner after finding top form since his move to Inter Milan 2 years ago.
“Don’t ever compare me to Cristiano Ronaldo, never,” Romelu Lukaku has told the media at the latest press conference.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is, for me, in the top three best players in the history of football. I’m not going to rank him from first to third but he’s in there. As for the rest, comparing statistics and all that, it’s useless,” the Belgian added.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has yet to make his debut for United after his return, while Lukaku has already scored on his debut for Chelsea against Arsenal. Ronaldo, moreover, will be ready to step out for his second United debut when the league competition resumes this weekend and the Red Devils host Newcastle United.
