According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter have intensified their pursuit of Romelu Lukaku, with the striker keen on moving to the Italian giants this summer.
“Inter are pushing to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer. The Belgian striker is now insisting with Chelsea to leave the club, he only wants Inter move,” tweeted Romano.
“Talks ongoing on the potential loan fee between the two clubs, while Lukaku would be ready to reduce his salary.”
Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio also point in the same direction with Inter willing to pay for the loan even at large amounts.
Also, according to Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea are prepared to reduce the loan fee to let Romelu Lukaku rejoin Inter Milan as soon as possible.
Initially, the Blues asked for £21m for a year-long loan. Now, they’re willing to accept £10m – even though Inter are still only offering around £6m.
