Done Deal: United Complete Deal For Goalkeeper, Medicals Underway
A 35-year-old goalkeeper is set to become United’s first signing of the summer transfer window – barring any dramatic developments.
It’s Fabrizio Romano, who has given his traditional ‘here we go’ to confirm Tom Heaton’s impending move to Man United.
The English goalkeeper is said to be set to have his medical with United in the next few weeks – as the deal is ‘done and dusted’.

Tom Heaton will be joining United as a free agent and sign a two-year contract until June 2023, with an option to extend it to 2024.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper spent a few years at United’s academy before moving away and earned some decent Premier League experience.
Since then he has made 116 appearances in his Premier League career, keeping 28 clean sheets in those.
