Man United Confirm Cristiano Ronaldo’s Debut Date Amid UK’s Covid-19 Guidelines
Cristiano Ronaldo has left the Portugal national team camp earlier this week to return to Manchester United ahead of his debut for the Red Devils after signing from Juventus this summer.
According to the Times, the 36-year-old will be free to feature against Newcastle in the Premier League next Saturday.
The player’s mandatory five-day self-isolation period, in accordance to UK’s Covid-19 guidelines, was brought forward due to his international suspension.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was released from the Portugal squad earlier this week and should spend enough time in Manchester ahead of the Old Trafford against the Magpies on September 11.
However, questions about Bruno Fernandes’ availability remain. The 26-year-old midfielder will play against Azerbaijan on Tuesday but Manchester United are set to apply for the ‘elite sports exemption’ for Ronaldo’s teammate.
