Manchester United’s pre-season campaign continues on Friday with a friendly clash against A-League side Melbourne Victory in Australia.
The Red Devils should be in good spirits after beating Liverpool 4–0 in Bangkok on Tuesday but Erik ten Hag has several selection dilemmas on his hands.
Option 1: Few Changes From Liverpool Game
Ten Hag could stick with the same starting XI that did so well against Liverpool in the first half on Tuesday, making just two changes with Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire coming in for Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof in defence.
Option 2: Second-half XI From Liverpool Game Starts
Melbourne Victory are hardly the most formidable opponent, so Ten Hag can use the friendly to run a few experiments. Eric Bailly deserves to start after impressing against Liverpool, and so do Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage.
