Martin Braithwaite Very Close To Completing €15m Transfer To Premier League Club

FC Barcelona are close to completing an agreement with a Premier League club for the transfer of Martin Braithwaite, according to Sport.

According to the source, West Ham United are interested in signing the Denmark international this summer. The fee being quoted for the Danish striker is €15m. However, Braithwaite is yet to give the green light for the deal to be completed.

The 30-year-old is among the Barcelona players who have refused to accept a pay-cut being offered by the club.

Martin Braithwaite scored 2 goals in 29 La Liga appearances for Barca last season. In all competitions, the former Leganes striker played 42 games, scored 7 goals, and laid on 4 assists.

On the other hand, he was among the Denmark squad that had a fine run in the Euro 2020, holding on until the semi-final after seeing their captain Christian Eriksen collapse on their opening game against Finland.
