Maurizio Sarri Names One Condition For Jorginho To Win Ballon d’Or This Year

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has enjoyed a brilliant spell under Thomas Tuchel after the German was appointed Chelsea manager earlier this year. The Italian was instrumental as the side won the Champions League.

While on an interview with Alfredo Pedulla, former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, who also managed Jorginho at Napoli was full of praises for the midfielder.

“If he were to win the European Championship too, it is clear that he would become a candidate to win Ballon d’Or,” Maurizio Sarri said of Jorginho.

“He is a refined player, probably not everyone understands him. You have to set your eyes on him and only watch him in the game.

“He is so good and intelligent that he makes everything seem easy, rarely anything spectacular remains in your eyes. This is the greatness of him.”
