Top footballing agent Mino Raiola is on the mission to make one of his most sort after clients in Erling Haaland the highest-paid player in football history for his potential move to any European giant, according to The Mirror.
As per the report, the super-agent wants to secure a humongous contract for Haaland which will earn the striker £1m-A-WEEK, a feat no other football player has ever managed before.
And to compare that with Lionel Messi, who is currently the highest-paid player in football, it will be double what the Barcelona captain earns [£500,000-a-week] after-tax.
On the radar are Real Madrid, PSG, and Manchester City, who are touted as some of the only clubs even capable of having the finances to meet Haaland’s incredible demands.
Moreover, Haaland’s employers Borussia Dortmund have made it clear that they will want upwards of £150m in transfer fees to sell the youngster. This would also break the transfer record if any club can pay that amount in the summer.
Mino Raiola, however, is convinced that incredible goal-scoring stats, which has seen him score a massive 39 goals in 41 games for club and country this season should help him secure this historic deal.
