Most Possible Chelsea Starting XI Next Season With New Signings

The Blues’ off-season has been one filled with high-profile names and the club will be sure to make at least a couple of additions to the squad before everything is said and done in this summer’s transfer window.

Although not all of the rumors are realistic, however, and it is important to know which ones are feasible and which aren’t.

For instance, Chelsea seems to have moved on from Hakimi Achraf‘s saga as the talented star looks PSG bound.

But then with a striker almost a certainty to be added and a center-back also a priority for the club, those 2 positions seem to be the ones that will see fresh faces come in.

So here’s a look at how Chelsea starting XI is most likely to look next season if the likeliest transfers go through for Thomas Tuchel’s side:

How Erling Haaland’s Potential Transfer Could Change Blues Attackers

Moreover, the noise around Erling Haaland has gone on for a solid 4-5 months for Chelsea now with even Roman Abramovich reportedly taking a personal interest in signing the Norwegian.

However, the striker will certainly be a costly acquisition and the argument could be made that his €150m+ price tag makes it unrealistic but Chelsea have never shied away from spending money if they need to.

Playing ahead of Mason Mount and Kai Havertz, Haaland would have all the service he needs and Chelsea’s attack could be set for the net 7-8 years with that trio.

On the other hand, with a lot of Chelsea’s center-back ending the final year or two of their contract, a long-term signing would go a long way in that position.

Thus, Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane is the most promising option in that regard and along with Haaland, would make it a perfect window for the Blues.

Playing alongside Thiago Silva for a season and then replacing him would be the ideal move and would make Chelsea immediate title contenders against the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.
