Mourinho Hits Headlines Yet Again After Big Roma Defeat – Delivers A Monologue
On Saturday, Jose Mourinho’s Roma were comprehensively beaten by Inter Milan who sealed a 3-0 win before half-time.
After the game, the former Chelsea, Man United, and Tottenham manager was in no mood to take questions from the press.
“Your job is a lot easier than ours which is why we earn a lot more than you,” Mourinho told the first reporter who asked him about the game.
He then went on to deliver a monologue without answering questions: “I apologize to the studio, to the people at home who might be interested in their questions.
“Inter are stronger than us in normal conditions. In non-normal conditions, they are much stronger than us. Last season, they were 29 points ahead of Roma. Today, with injuries and suspended players, it was very, very difficult.”

“Our attacking potential was practically nil. It was very important to score a goal because we would only have two or three chances. We had three and didn’t score.
“When you play with a defense that has [Roger] Ibanez and various others in positions that are not their usual ones, you still cannot concede the first and third goals. You just can’t.”
After ending his speech, Mourinho left the room still without answering a single question.
With 16 games played in Serie A, Roma are already nine points adrift from the top four places that guarantee Champions League participation next season.
Mourinho is only in his first season at the club but it looks like it is already close to imploding there as it did at all of his previous clubs.
