The German gaffer was responsible for bringing the striker to RB Leipzig from Stuttgart and pushing his career.

That being said, there is no affirmation from the United board whether they would want the Chelsea flop at Old Trafford.

Timo Werner was quite abysmal in their game against United, missing some big chances.

The German striker has only scored 15 goals in 64 appearances for Chelsea and struggled to adapt to the Premier League since arriving last year.
