The official date for the 2021 Ballon d’Or ceremony has been revealed and surprisingly, this year’s award won’t be held in December.
The 2021 Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place in Paris on November 29.
It will take place at Theatre du Chatelet – exactly where Leo Messi received his 6th Ballon d’Or in 2019.
Meanwhile, October 8 will see the list of nominees announced, and the voting from club and country captains and coaches across Europe and top journalists will commence.
As a reminder, Lionel Messi remains the best-positioned candidate to claim the prize but he still faces sort of competition from players like Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, and Robert Lewandowski.
