On Saturday, July 24, it was confirmed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is here to stay – the Norwegian has extended his stay at Manchester United till 2024.
His contract includes the option to trigger another year, meaning he’s effectively tied as the Red Devils boss till 2025.
Back then when Ole took charge as the interim manager, the Manchester United squad looked very different from what it is now.
Although the current squad still have some gaps to plug but the Norwegian has done a pretty good job at building a squad from scratch.

In reality, only Raphael Varane is in advanced transfer talks with Manchester United among the names mentioned as potential arrivals. While Paul Pogba, on the other hand, is understood to have set his heart to leave Old Trafford this summer. PSG is touted as his most likely destination, though.
