Paul Pogba’s contract situation could complicate Manchester United’s pursuit of Erling Haaland in the summer of 2022.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a tier-one source, the deal ‘won’t be easy’ for the Red Devils because of the Norwegian’s agent Mino Raiola.
The relationship between Man United and Raiola is at an all-time low with talks regarding a new long-term contract for Pogba breaking down several times.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Haaland although Romano adds that ‘nothing advanced at the moment’ regarding the Borussia Dortmund striker.
Meanwhile, Pogba is allegedly willing to work with Man United’s current manager Ralf Rangnick when he fully recovers from his injury. However, the Frenchman is taking his time before committing his future to United.
