Just In: The Outcome Of Man United’s Meeting With Cristiano Ronaldo, Ten Hag & Alex Ferguson Revealed

Manchester United’s first day of negotiations with Cristiano Ronaldo regarding his future at Old Trafford has ended in an ‘impasse’, according to the Telegraph.

The Portuguese arrived at Carrington’s training centre alongside his agent Jorge Mendes on Tuesday. Interestingly enough, Sir Alex Ferguson was there as well.

The Red Devils ‘refused to budge from their hard-line position’ that Ronaldo will not be leaving the club this summer despite his clear wish to make that happen.

The 37-year-old forward is not expected to feature against Brighton on August 7 at Old Trafford when the 2022/23 Premier League campaign gets underway.

According to reports, possible clubs that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner could join have all dismissed having an interest in signing the Portuguese this summer, including Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea.
