Gerard Pique Responds To Those Who Jeered Sergi Roberto In Disappointing Bayern Loss
“I’d like to remind people he’s not a full-back,” Gerard Pique said of Sergi Roberto after the defeat to Bayern.
“He’s making a huge sacrifice playing there. People are free to have their own opinions but that jeering really hurt me personally.
“Sergi is a spectacular human being and loves this club more than anything,” Pique added.
Roberto was whistled by Barcelona supporters at Camp Nou during Barcelona’s 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
