Manchester United legend, Roy Keane has urged the club’s manager, Ralf Ragnick to build his team around Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, and Raphael Varane.
Keane said this following Man United’s Premier League 2-2 draw against Aston Villa at the weekend.
The Irishman, who backed the idea of rebuilding Man United was asked on Sky Sports who of Man United’s current team he would build the team around. He replied: “I don’t know, I really don’t.
“Bruno, sure, people like Ronaldo, Varane, there are some good young players there.”
Keane added: “If a top coach comes in – at least for a good starting point – there are senior players there, at least their contracts are nearly up you can move them on, get some fresh young talent in at United.”
Man United are currently in the 7th position on the Premier League table with 32 points from 20 games.
