According to L’Equipe, a highly reliable French news outlet, Paris Saint-Germain are the ‘favorites’ to sign Paul Pogba for free this summer despite competition from Juventus.
Real Madrid have dropped out of the race but PSG have, in fact, made him a ‘priority target’ as his Manchester United contract is in the final few months before expiry.
Pogba has denied reports of being offered a bumper new deal at Old Trafford. He’s not shown any indication that he will extend his stay beyond this.
L’Equipe understands that PSG have already contacted Paul’s agent Mino Raiola and have begun initial talks with the controversial agent.
Pogba has been out of action with an injury since last November and is yet to return for the first team.
Ralf Rangnick has expressed a desire to work with the Frenchman but it appears the Parc des Princes could be his new home.
