Paul Pogba Makes Decision After United Offered Him £400,000-Per-Week Contract

Manchester United have offered Paul Pogba a new contract worth £400,000 per week but the Frenchman is in no hurry to accept it as a return to his homeland with Paris Saint-Germain remains a “possibility”, according to The Athletic.

The 28-year-old is out of contract in 2022 after the Red Devils triggered a one-year extension in his deal last summer.

But according to a tier-1 UK source, Paul Pogba is not in a “major rush” to accept Manchester United’s latest offer to improve his current £290,000-per-week contract as he was “disappointed” by the club’s decision on an automatic extension.

Apparently, United could sell the midfielder on the cheap this summer if he doesn’t renew in the weeks to come.

Although some other sources suggested that United are willing to risk losing the Frenchman next summer for free, provided he does not leave the club this summer.

Again, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino recently confirmed after a 4-2 win over Brest on Friday that the club would welcome a midfielder like Pogba but refused a clear answer to whether they’re still interested in signing the midfielder this summer.
