Premier League Player Of The Season Revealed – Fernandes & Mount Miss Out
After the 8-man shortlist was released a few days ago, the winner of Premier League Player of the Season has emerged.
Manchester City defender Ruben Dias has won the Premier League Player of the Season for 2020-21.
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes, who was a strong contender for the prize, has missed out despite being one of the most creative goalscorers for Manchester United last season.

Bruno scored an impressive 18 goals and provided 12 assists in the English topflight football alone, which is remarkable for a midfielder. In the process, the Portuguese also broke Frank Lampard’s Premier League record.
However, the 26-year-old midfielder was named United’s Player of the Year – a much-deserved award after a fantastic campaign.
Mason Mount, who also won the Premier League Academy Graduate award and as well nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Year misses out on this award following an impressive season that saw him register 6 goals and 6 assists for Chelsea.
However, the 22-year-old was named Chelsea’s Player of the Year – a much more deserved recognition!
