Ralf Rangnick Identifies His Midfield Target For United Ahead Of January Transfer
Ralf Rangnick identified Jude Bellingham and Kalvin Phillips as potential midfield targets for next year, claims ESPN.
The German manager stated his desire to sign one of the two bright young midfielders in his job interview with Man United.
Rangnick let the club know that they should look to invest in better midfielders.
He also suggested that the scouts should take a closer look at Amadou Haidara, who he reportedly wants to make his first signing at Old Trafford.

United will reportedly give Rangnick money to buy players in January, but signing Bellingham or Phillips could be tricky.
Leeds United are highly unlikely to sell their prized asset to a direct rival, while Borussia Dortmund probably won’t sell Jude anytime soon.
Ralf has praised the impact made by Fred and Scott McTominay under him, but it seems he wants to upgrade his midfield line to properly implement his ‘gegenpressing’ tactics.
