Ralf Rangnick’s Concerning Interview After Frustrating Watford Draw In Full
In his post-match interview, Ralf Rangnick told MUTV: “It is [frustrating], we did everything other than scoring.
“Hard to take that result. We were in full control for almost the full game.”We need to be sharper in front of goal and can hardly create more chances than we did. A frustrating afternoon.
“Our job as coaches is to help the team to create enough chances. The number of clear chances we had today had to be enough to win a game like this.”
The German added: “If I look back at the last three months, we have given away that many chances and that many points with draws, we should have four or six more points and the situation would be completely different.”

Manchester United had 20 attempts but only three of those were on target. What’s even more appalling is that we had Marcus Rashford, Anthony Elanga, Jadon Sancho, and Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch in the final 15 minutes and still failed to score.
Watford also missed a couple of chances but their problem was creating opportunities. For United, it was the opposite – we created a lot of openings but didn’t convert any. Ultimately, the game ended 0-0.
The forward line needs to find their scoring boots again before we face Manchester City next weekend.
