Ralf Rangnick Explains Why Man United Are In The Position They Are Now After Wolves Defeat

“We have to admit they [Wolves] deserved to win,” said Ralf Rangnick in his post-match interview with BEIN Sports.

“They are playing with 4/5 central midfielders and we couldn’t control that side of the pitch. We were struggling when they released their wing-backs.

“We didn’t play well at all. Today the question was who will score the first goal. It could have been us with Bruno [Fernandes] but it was them.”

The Manchester United interim boss continued: “We can only improve if we work collectively. I won’t be speaking about individual errors and performances.”

“I knew that it was not an easy job… Today’s game showed why we are in the position we are in.”

Joao Moutinho found the winning goal for the visitors and the defeat leaves the Red Devils in the seventh spot in the Premier League standings.

The manner of the defeat was pathetic, to say the least, and Rangnick has his work cut out before our next game.
