Ralf Rangnick has given Jesse Lingard his blessing to leave Man United before the end of the transfer window, claims The Athletic’s, David Ornstein.
The German gaffer met with the midfielder at Carrington on Monday morning and backed up his desire to leave.
Rangnick has left United’s board to make the final decision on Lingard’s future, with the Englishman attracting new offers on deadline day.
Newcastle United have come up with an improved offer to sign the midfielder before the transfer deadline.
West Ham United have also come up with a transfer proposal that is better than the terms for which they took Lingard on loan last season.
Man United’s board will now have to decide whether they’re ready to let Jesse leave to either club before the transfer window shuts at 11 PM GMT.
