Leeds managed to come back from 2–0 down and score two quick-fire goals against Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday.
Speaking about Raphinha’s equalizer, Ralf Rangnick said: “I spoke to the referee after the game about that tackle on Bruno Fernandes before they scored the equalizer.
“I said, ‘In Germany, we wouldn’t even need VAR.’ The referee said, quite funnily, ‘Listen this is why you had to come to England’.”
Thankfully, Manchester United managed to retake control of the game and score two more through substitutes Fred and Anthony Elanga.
Bruno’s actions leading to the equalizer were heavily criticized by Paul Scholes with the Old Trafford legend accusing the Portuguese of ‘looking for a foul’.
