Rangnick Finally Reveals Why Man United Changed Manager After Lacklustre Soton Performances
Following the disappointing 1-1 draw, Ralf Rangnick told the BBC: “We have to understand where we are.
“[Southampton] won 2-3 at Tottenham, and they expected to win easily.
“We got a point today; we expected three and needed three, but that is the situation. That is why there was a change of manager and why we are here.”
The Manchester United boss continued: “It was a very good first half hour.”

“I was pleased with our performance. We didn’t allow them too many chances, but they had transitional moments in the first half and then scored an early goal in the second.
“Then it was an open game; each team had chances. We had the clearer chances to win, but right now we are struggling to keep our composure and the structure for more than the first half.”
