Ralf Rangnick Names 6 Manchester United Players To Miss Chelsea Clash Including Jadon Sancho
Ralf Rangnick has revealed that 6 Man United players are out of contention for the Chelsea game on Thursday.
Harry Maguire (knee niggle) and Jadon Sancho (tonsillitis) are the latest pair of players to be out with injury issues.
Fred, Edinson Cavani, Luke Shaw, and Paul Pogba are also out of the game after failing to recover in time for it.
He said: “Fred is unfortunately not yet available, he tried to train yesterday and afterward I had a conversation with him and he is not 100 per cent. With a player like Fred, it doesn’t make sense with a muscular injury to play him too early as we would take the risk of re-injury.”

“Apart from that, Harry Maguire is not available tomorrow, he has some issues with his knee. He didn’t train yesterday and today.
“Paul, obviously, Fred, Luke Shaw [are all out]. Jadon is ill – he has had tonsillitis since yesterday, couldn’t train today and won’t be available tomorrow.”
The Red Devils are likely to have a thin squad for the Chelsea game, but could call upon youngsters to fill into the final matchday squad.
