Rangnick Reveals Conversation With Frustrated Ronaldo After Being Taken Off vs Brentford

Quoted by The Athletic, Ralf Rangnick opened up his conversation with a visibly furious Cristiano Ronaldo in the post-match interview.

Ralf explained: “He [Ronaldo] said ‘Why me, why did you take me off?’

“I said I had to take the decision for the team, for the club.

“Maybe in a few years when he is a coach he will understand.”
