Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly ready to meet Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger’s wage demands amid uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge.
Accordint to reports by Calciomercato, the Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti himself is behind Real Madrid’s plans to sign Rudiger.
The 28-year-old, whose contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season, is reportedly looking for a new deal worth €12million (£10.3m)-a-year or roughly £200,000-a-week.
Chelsea are having difficulties in meeting the demands of the German defender as they consider the figures quite excessive, but Real Madrid could agree to it.
An earlier report from The Athletic claimed Chelsea were only willing to offer him £140,000-a-week.
Meanwhile, Rudiger recently affirmed that he is happy at Chelsea and that he was still in talks with the club.
