Boost For Chelsea As Real Madrid’s Key Player Tests Positive For Covid-19

Real Madrid’s key player Fede Valverde has tested positive for Covid-19 and the midfielder will now have to self-isolate.

The Spanish giants confirmed that Fede Valverde has returned a positive Covid-19 test today and will be going to undergo a period of self-isolation.

Valverde was omitted from 2 La Liga matchday squads – against Getafe and Cadiz today – after coming into close contact with a Covid-positive person.

Meanwhile, the midfielder has also struggled with an ankle injury in the last couple of weeks, one which forced him to withdraw from El Clasico and play on painkillers vs Liverpool in the Champions League.
