Tammy Abraham scored two goals in AS Roma’s 3-0 victory against city rivals Lazio.
This is his 23rd goal for Mourinho’s side this season but the Englishman remains under-appreciated in the wider football community.
This is what Reece James has pointed out in a recent Instagram story.
“Numbers don’t lie,” he wrote alongside a picture of Tammy. “Pay some respect please.”
Meanwhile, Tammy was sold to the Serie A side because Chelsea considered him not prolific enough for their title charge and brought in Romelu Lukaku from another Series A side instead.
So far, however, Abraham has had a better goal return for Roma than Romelu Lukaku for Chelsea as the Englishman continues to be instrumental for Jose Mourinho’s side in their pursuit of European football next season.
