Rangnick Finally Breaks Silence On Reports About Man United Dressing Room Unrest

Speaking to MUTV after the 4-2 win at Elland Road, Ralf Rangnick explained: “At half-time, we were fully aware they [Leeds] would have a go at us and would try to play with more aggression.

“I still believe the first goal came out of the blue, I don’t think Rodrigo intended to play the ball where he played the ball to.

“It took us five minutes to shake ourselves and the reaction after that [2-2] I think was great, we showed maturity.

“We showed maturity, as a team on the pitch and in the end we highly deserved to win.”

The Manchester United boss added: “It was perfect in regard to maturity and unity and the best reply they could give to some articles last week that there was disruption in the locker room.

“A game like this one, you can only win as a team and the mentality of a team.”

Over the past week, we’ve had multiple reports hinting at a dressing room unrest with different player cliques popping up.

However, the Leeds win was exactly what we needed to silence the critics (read: noisy media outlets) for the time being at least.

From players hugging each other to flooding social media with positive messages, it’s been a treat to watch.
