Richard Arnold, Man United’s new CEO, has decided to support Ralf Rangnick’s decision to make Erik ten Hag the next manager, claims The Sun.
He’s been won over by how the German manager has promoted the Ajax boss and will make a move for him in the summer.
Arnold is also set to reject the players’ desire to have Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager and will back Rangnick’s choice instead.
Ten Hag is likely to leave Ajax in the summer after his close friend and sporting director Marc Overmars was forced to leave the club recently.
The Dutchman would reportedly fancy a move to Old Trafford, but it remains to be seen whether United eventually make a move for him or not.
