Fabrizio Romano Names 2 Center-Backs Chelsea Are Scouting For Summer Transfer

As per the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are ‘still in contact’ with people close to Jules Kounde over a summer transfer.

The center-back’s move to Chelsea last summer was almost complete before Sevilla pulled the plug, asking for way more than their initial price.

Romano adds that in the last two years, Chelsea have sent many scouts to monitor Kounde and remain keen on getting him if possible.

He adds that another option on the table is Niklas Sule of Bayern Munich. The big center-back’s contract expires at the end of this season so he will be a free agent in the summer.

Given the uncertainty surrounding the extensions of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, the Blues are likely to move for at least one of these two names.
