After the official announcement on the Blues social media channels, Lukaku’s Chelsea debut date has been revealed as the Premier league opener approach.
After two seasons with Seria A side Inter Milan, Lukaku rejoins Chelsea and the question that is circulating is if he will be lined up to face Crystal Palace.
A Chelsea fan’s comment reads thus; “All that matters now, is he eligible to play the Crystal palace game?”
From all indications, Romelu Lukaku’s Chelsea debut date for the 2021/2022 Premier League might come sooner than expected.
The player is said to be eligible to be in the line-up for the weekend’s opening game against Crystal Palace.
Despite being eligible to play this weekend’s game, Chelsea management does not seem eager to field the striker so early.
He needs time to adjust and get used to his new team. Due to a delay in his signing, Lukaku is yet to get a good training session prior to the game against Crystal Palace.
The implication is that Lukaku’s Chelsea debut is expected to be next weekend in the game against Arsenal. A probable startup is not certain for the Belgian Striker, but he is likely to make the team list for the game.
