Breaking: Cristiano Ronaldo Asks Manchester United To Terminate His Contract – Club’s Response Revealed

Cristiano Ronaldo told Man United in their meeting on Monday to release him from his contract, which is due to expire in 2023, as per the Daily Mail.

The Portuguese forward believes becoming a free agent can boost his chances of joining a major club that guarantees him Champions League football.

But the 37-year-old received a negative response from the Red Devils. United told him they have no intentions of selling and have not received any inquiries for his transfer from any club.

While this failed to change his mind about leaving, Ronaldo will continue to be professional and prepare for the upcoming campaign with Erik ten Hag’s side.

He has had little training under the new system and still needs time to get immersed into Ten Hag’s style.

Yet, Cristiano is keeping an eye on potentially making an appearance in the game against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Irrespective of all this, Ronaldo is still hoping to get his summer transfer and join a club that guarantees him Champions League football.
