Cristiano Ronaldo Responds To Ligue 1 Player’s Request To Join Messi In The League

With Lionel Messi having joined PSG, many football fans are now wishing for Cristiano Ronaldo to come to Ligue 1 – so that they can restart their iconic rivalry again.

Not just fans, but Ronaldo’s national teammate Jose Fonte has revealed that he personally asked the Juventus star to join him at Lille.

The Lille defender told Talksport: “I feel great. I feel great because it’s incredible to hear a player like Lionel Messi is in French football in our league.

“Obviously in terms of competitors it’s going to be even harder for us but we’re up for a challenge – I’m texting Cristiano to come to Lille every day! He’s only replied ‘ha ha ha’.”
