Solskjaer Reveals Why Cristiano Ronaldo Won’t Be Starting Every Game For Man United

Cristiano Ronaldo has finally made his much-awaited second debut for Manchester United banging an impressive brace for the Red Devils at Old Trafford. However, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted it’s not impossible to leave the 36-year-old in some games.

“It’s not impossible to leave him out,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said about Cristiano Ronaldo, as quoted by ESPN.

“He is 36. Mason [Greenwood] is 19 so it’s the same, I have to manage his minutes and I have to manage a 36-year-old’s minutes as well.”

“The other thing with Cristiano is that he looks after himself so much so I know he will recover quickly.

“Of course, it’s important that we get everyone up and running and to get him up and running.”

After marking his comeback to Manchester United with a brace against Newcastle, it remains to be seen whether he starts against Young Boys on Tuesday.
