Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has aired his thoughts on Anotonio Conte who is recently appointed as the new Tottenham Hotspur manager. He said: “He will bring a lot to Tottenham.
“Antonio Conte has already shown that he is a winning coach. The last time I met him was in England during a dinner with [Sir Alex] Ferguson.”
Conte was heavily linked to replace Solskjaer as United manager after Man United’s 0-5 loss to Liverpool recently. However, the United board decided to give the Norwegian more time to bring redemption to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Red Devils snubbed Conte because of his confrontational and demanding attitude.
Ole’s job seems to be safe for now, but he has to get a positive result against Man City at the weekend to ensure that he remains at the United dugout well after the International break.
