Luis Suarez Names The Best Team In Champions League This Season After Round Of 16 Draw

Atletico Madrid striker, Luis Suarez, has identified Manchester United as ‘one of the best’ teams in the Champions League this season.

Suarez stated this while reacting to the Champions League round of 16 draws that was conducted on Monday.

Recall that Man United was drawn against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last-16 that will take place in February.

Ralf Rangnick’s side are currently in the fifth position on the Premier League table with 27 points from 16 games.

Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, won the LaLiga title last season but are already 13 points behind leaders Real Madrid this season.

Diego Simeone’s men scraped through their Champions League group despite losing three games.

“I saw the second draw. To win the Champions League, you have to beat the best,” Suarez told Spanish outlet AS.

“Man United are one of the best. We will go into the knockout stage in the best way possible,”
