BBC: Erik ten Hag Finally Makes Decision On Keeping Anthony Martial At Man United Next Season
Anthony Martial will not be leaving Manchester United before the end of June, as per BBC’s Simon Stone, a tier-one source.
The Frenchman, along with a few other fringe players, will be present for the start of pre-season training under Erik ten Hag at Carrington on June 27.
The forward spent the second half of the 2022/23 campaign on loan at La Liga side Sevilla, failing to make an impression and scoring just two goals across all competitions.
Anthony Martial’s Old Trafford salary of £250,000 per week remains a massive stumbling block in potential negotiations and it’s entirely possible that he could be in the squad to face Brighton on August 7.

Moreover, Manchester United might not be signing a new striker this summer after missing out on talents like Julian Alvarez and Darwin Nunez to Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.
Ten Hag believes that the Red Devils have enough firepower for the upcoming season and he is looking to add only midfield and defensive reinforcement to the current United squad.
